Coil were formed by two founding members of Psychic TV - Peter Christopher And John Balance. Scatology originally released on LP in 1984 on the label Force & Form and received rave reviews as well as provoking scandal amongst prudes. It was co-produced by Clint Ruin (aka Foetus) and Gavin Friday. The album is littered with enthusiasm, intelligence and a sleazy fetish. The result is a mixture of emotion and experience. 13 tracks includes bonus cuts 'The Spoiler' (unreleased alternative version) & 'Restless Day' (originally released on Yang-Ki Records).
